Tucked away in the heart of the Cotswolds, the Retreat is situated within a secluded & idyllic south-facing meadow. Lakeside Annexe in hamlet next to the K&A canal

The Annexe is attached to our house which is on the edge of a small hamlet bordering the Kennet and Avon canal in the heart of the stunning Pewsey Vale. It overlooks our small private lake which is host to a variety of water birds including our beautiful pair of resident swans. We have some wonderful walks directly from the house which include two excellent village pubs. The location is ideal for trips to Bath, Salisbury, Oxford and London (fast train from Pewsey) plus many local attractions.

Riverside Log Cabin+Luxury Hot Tub Spa+Copper bath

Charming, riverside log cabin on the bank of the Kennett, overlooking a nature reserve. Privately located in my back garden there is a large open plan room with 2 double sofa beds, sleeping 4, a slate bed pool table & Hi Fi system. There's a luxury en suite bathroom with copper bathtub, shower, basin & WC. There are basic kitchen facilities with kettle, toaster, double hot plate, microwave & grill, sink & refrigerator/freezer. A veranda with 2 bbq's & seats plus lower deck overlook the river.

Field End Contemporary rural barn

A small barn built with friends during a barn raising. Simple, stylish, with underfloor heating, compact but with a sense of space. Deck with hammock and barbcue extends into fields at the back. Private, lovely spacious comfortable beds , rustic but with a touch of luxury. Thirty minutes to Oxford, two minutes drive to village of Great Tew and Soho . One of three properties on site ( we live in one) the other is called The Artists House and if booked together can sleep 12 guests in total.

The Cabin

A rustic, secluded self contained Cabin beside a lake, set in the heart of rural Wiltshire. Take yourself back to nature and enjoy far reaching views in this peaceful off-grid setting. Enjoy stargazing around the fire pit and snuggle down in front of the log burner. We're veggies here so we ask that no meat is cooked on the premises, this includes inside the cabin itself as well as in the South Barn space. There is a good outdoor bbq for meat lovers though! Our Mirror Houses are located in a remote area of a family-run farm near the Oxfordshire village of Kirtlington. They are hidden away in woodland in the grounds of the Kirtlington Park Polo Club, next to a Capability Brown-designed lake.
