Our 1968 Bedford TK Horse Lorry has been lovingly converted into guest accommodation for 2 adults using repurposed materials to create a cosy, welcoming hideaway. It is the perfect base to explore the panoramic North Coast of Ireland with its many tourist attractions. There are a great selection of restaurants and quality coffee shops nearby.

The Carriage is set on tracks where the original line ran through Ullock on the fringe of the Lake District National Park, with the river Marron running below. Set in the midst of our woodland, at Glan Y Mor camping, our newest addition is private and secluded and yet with beautiful light and a direct view to the stars. Welcome to SHEP – your cosy shepherd’s hut on a vintage military lorry, nestled along an old railway line on our family farm in the Scottish Borders. Snuggle up by the wood-burning stove in winter or throw open the French doors for a summer BBQ. Ideal for couples, families or solo stays. Optional wood-fired hot tub – £70 per stay (please book in advance). Pre-light service can be requested but is not always available. Extra logs can be purchased for £15 per bag.
