Lake View Lodge

Stay at the Lake View Lodge and wake up to fantastic views every morning across the meadow, Lake Windermere, fells and mountains beyond. The Lodge is a self-contained cabin with access to three acres of grounds and wild meadows attracting a wonderful array of wildlife including owls, red kites, deer, foxes and woodpeckers. Enjoy a large 45 square meter space with king sized bed, double sofa bed, shower room and kitchenette. Ideally suited for up to two adults and two children or three adults.

Lodge on the Lake is a luxurious property located in a very special position right on Lake Windermere within the Lake District National Park. The Herdvyk (#1) is one of our two beautiful bespoke log cabins, nestled on a small family farm on the edge of the Lake District National Park, offers a bespoke escape for two. This hand crafted, off-grid retreat features a comfortable double bed, a fully equipped kitchen, and a private en-suite bathroom with a shower. Outside, you can unwind by the stone circle, relax in the outdoor bath, or simply enjoy the tranquil surroundings of the fire pit.

A peaceful retreat, hidden within 3 acres of private ancient woodland in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales. Watch red squirrels play right outside the cabin doors as well as a vast array of birds and other wildlife. Bath in the authentic Scandinavian wood fired hot tub while watching the trees and the stars around you. Sorry, no dogs – to protect our ancient woodland and the endangered red squirrels who live here.
