Almost off-grid, it has a comfy bed, central woodburner and spectacular view. It's the perfect stepping stone towards the full off-grid experience, intended for people who are curious about living the off-grid lifestyle but also like to be able to charge their phone, boil a kettle and have a hot shower! A modern self contained flat in the centre of the village of Ullapool. Newly built in 2020 it is over a double garage at the rear of the owner's house. Own private stairs and entrance and folding door open from the open plan sitting room and kitchen to a glass fronted balcony. One double bedroom with en suite shower room. All electric. Colour TV, Wifi and shared private parking area. Very central for all the amenities of this pretty fishing village which are within within a few minutes walk.

Stay in this charming unique highland bothy nestled amidst idyllic woodland overlooking Loch Broom and the mountains beyond. Inside the bothy there is an easy to light wood burning stove , a kitchen area with hot and cold water and gas burner for cooking and traditional style highland box beds with interior lighting. There is a long deep window seat where you can sit to watch birds feeding outside or to enjoy the lovely view. Tor Bothy is low impact sitting in 7 acres of re- wilded land.

You will be very welcome at our ' wee house', situated in Polglass, Achiltibuie, at Tigh Uisdean Bed and Breakfast. We are situated on the beautiful Coigach peninsula in Wester Ross. The cottage is light and airy with stunning, panoramic views over the Summer Isles. Downstairs, there is an open plan sitting room/ small kitchen area,utility room, bathroom with shower, bedrooms up a 'paddle' staircase. (check photo for suitability). Can accommodate 2 couples, more spacious for 2 people.

Please Google or read the description in the photos of what a bothy is. If expecting a five star hotel do not stay here. Bothy with a comfy bed. One up from camping. enjoy the beauty and simplicity of the Strath Oykel scenery. A gas stove and a loo with a view. The Bothy benefits from a fire pit to enjoy sundowners and northern lights from, looking onto a loch. There is also a log burner for those chillier evenings. Bring drinking water and food. Everything else should be there.

Rose Cottage - Coastal, Rural & Cosy! NC500

Situated in North West Scottish Highlands approximately 80 miles from Inverness, in a beautiful and tranquil setting, 10 minutes walk from the local beach and a short drive to Mellon Udrigle a sensationally beautiful beach. It is a good area for walkers of all abilities. There is ample parking for two cars and a there is a garden with tables and chairs and a barbeque. Dogs accommodated, but there are sheep around so they must be kept under control.

Whisky - Pods on the Croft

We are a working Croft in the heart of the highlands overlooking Loch Shin, with views of Ben More Assynt. Where a warm welcome awaits you. Come and explore what Sutherland has to offer from walking, canoeing and cycling to fishing and a good game of golf all within easy drive. Spend the night in either Whisky or Skipper. One of our pods named after our dogs. Take a seat on the deck with a cuppa or a glass and watch the world go by.

The Wee Hut at Flowerdale, Gairloch

We offer you a cosy hut, ideal for short stays. Close to beautiful trails, the Old Inn, the Harbour, and Gairloch beach. The Wee Hut is nested at the edge of our paddock, near our poly-tunnel and potting shed. She is ideal for anyone who is looking for a fuss-free base to explore, or who is stopping over in Gairloch briefly. Inside the Wee Hut you will find basic facilities and be able to prepare simple food.
