Unplug in this peaceful little getaway. Nestled in the backyard of our little hobby farm near the Wood River, you will be able to visit our alpacas, goat, or honey bees. Sit and relax on the porch, or stroll through the pasture or neighborhood. In many ways, the cottage resembles a tiny house with a small bathroom & shower, kitchen sink, microwave, induction hot plate, coffee maker, plates, glasses & utensils. Many of the restaurants & shopping amenities are located on the north end of Kearney.

Art Barn in the Country/Working Metal Art Studio

Come and enjoy our peaceful country setting surrounded by wildflowers and wildlife. We have a walking trail with a couple of exercise stations and 2 holes of pasture golf and 2 baskets for disc golf. There is a pickle ball/basketball court, lit dance floor and room to play outdoor games. You might want to enjoy an evening picnic in the lit tree area. Our open vistas provide for great cloud and star watching as well as amazing sunrises and sunsets. Outdoor seating on front and back porches.

The Cabin @ at Taylor Ranch

The Lodge at Taylor Ranch is home to two of Oklahoma's premiere disc golf courses, but we offer more than just disc golf! Our rustic, yet cozy cabin sits just above the water! In the winter you can snuggle up next to the fireplace or in the summer you can jump off the dock and go swimming! We are 6 miles away from The Mercantile (10 minute drive). We have hosted many Weddings, Parties, Disc Golf Tournaments, Retreats, Boy Scout Camp-outs, Fishing Derbies, etc! We also have an RV Park as well!

Exotic Animal Hotel/ with lemur viewing

Come stay in your very own unique safari room! Come stay the night with over 100 exotic animals from around the world! We are an exotic animal encounter experience! Your windows from your room are connected to the ringtail lemur and ruffed lemur enclosures! There is also a fire pit, playground, and a ton of hiking! Welcome to Crestline Ranch, a distinctive mid-century home filled with art, books, worldly treasures and warm textiles. Discover a folksy speakeasy behind the bookcase, soak year-round in the hot tub, gather by the firepit, or enjoy cards and cocktails in the heated and cooled vintage camper. The stock tank is open March–October as a cold plunge in cooler months and a refreshing pool in summer. Primary guest must be 25+ unless they have prior positive reviews. Approved events only.

Brent & Jean’s Tiny house

This tiny house in a tiny western Kansas town offers rest and relaxation. Arrive early to enjoy a beautiful western Kansas sunset and sleep peacefully! This house was built by my high school students and I at Ness City High School. There is a concrete patio with a fire pit to enjoy the evening. Our neighbors to the west often have calves and the neighbors to the north horses in their pasture. Coming so will be a small laundromat to the south of the tiny house. Come be our guest!

Relax on the 320sf deck by the house, or walk just a few steps down a wooded path to the platform overlooking Bird Creek, lots of wildlife can be seen. Perfect for a couples weekend, or a quiet getaway. Queen bed in the loft and a queen Murphy bed in the main room. A wilderness retreat within the city limits!
