The Hayloft at Swainstown Farm

The Lodge

Nestled in the picturesque village of Ballinea, just outside Mullingar. 'The lodge' is situated on the banks of the Royal Canal, at the point where the 'Old Rail Trail Greenway' and the canal meet. Both the Greenway and Canal access are a short stroll from the property. There is a local shop that is also a short walk from the property, where you can pick up freshly bakes goods, tea, coffee, sandwiches and much more The location makes it perfect for walking, cycling, angling and much more

Magical gothic 3 bedroom mini-castle.

The Clonmellon Lodge is an 18th c. gothic mini castle recently restored, newly refurbished bathrooms and kitchen, all in one floor, with easy access to the grounds of Killua Castle. The Lodge can fit 5 people comfortably. There are 2 bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. The first one with an ( American) Queen size bed, and the second with a double size bed. There is an office with a daybed that can sleep an small adult comfortably, and it has a full bathroom next to it.

Suitable for walking & cycling with Glenbarrow waterfall within walking distance. Portlaoise & Tullamore 20 mins drive. Private entrance with ample parking. Outdoor picnic area and garden. Dogs are welcome.

Cornaher

The apartment in Cornaher is on a commercial farm. It was originally an old outbuilding. The apartment is basic but very warm and cosy. We are still working on the grounds and the apartments are very close to the farm. It is located between Kilbeggan and Tyrrellspass on the old Dublin road. The previous occupants were working on a new solar farm and stayed for a few months.
