Our coastal walking track runs directly past this house, which invites safe and scenic walks or mountain biking. Brand new Cplay Adventure Playground, Penguins & Aquatic centre are also just a stone throw away. Supermarket and Fast food options just a walk across the park.

Fully refurbished 120 yr old duck back cottage, spacious kitchen, 3 bedrooms, Shower over bath. Situated on a quiet side street. This special place is close to everything, making it easy to plan your visit. 5 minute walk to central city and to Caroline bay with it’s little blue penguins, Carnival, swimming and its brand new play ground. We don’t charge a cleaning fee but we do expect you to leave the cottage clean & tidy, a cleaning fee may be charged if place if left messy.

Fresh eggs from our hens plus ingredients to cook yourself pancakes for breakfast! Or treat yourself to egg brekkie instead. Built in 1905, and converted to 2 apartments in the 1950's, we live in the other apartment. The apartment is located in Central Timaru, being 5 minutes walk from the central business area and the Caroline Bay beach and facilities. Fully self contained, it suits a range of requirements from a single person staying overnight, to a family wanting a longer stay. Caroline Bay is home to a local small 'Little Blue Penguin' colony.
