We are located in a quiet neighborhood with close proximity to the iconic New River bridge (walk to Bridge Day!), hiking trails, climbing, water adventures (rafting, kayaking, SUP), mountain biking, town park, cafes, shops and restaurants. The house is well equipped for those who work remotely, prefer to cook their meals, travel with a child or a pet or simply want to unwind.

As a tribute to locals who lived and loved well in their homes for many decades, The Zelek House embodies a sense of family and warmth within its walls. If you love Rafting, Kayaking, Hiking, Bike Riding and some peace and quiet this is the place for you as its only about 2 miles or 5 minutes from the Cunard River access of the New River in the New River Gorge National Park and Preserve. HollerRidge has beautiful mountain views that can be seen from the deck. Deer frequently come through the yard and it's 15 minutes away from either Fayetteville or Oak Hill (10 miles away in a country setting. )Helping build memories one at a time.

Songbird Sanctuary

Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place. Our place is on a little dirt road with a beautiful view of the sun rising over the mountains and horses grazing in the field. Off the main road approximately 1/10 of a mile with no traffic in front of the house. Beautiful backyard with a fire pit and grill, also corn hole for outdoor fun. No nosy neighbors, but the sound of children playing nearby. Just minutes away from rafting, mountain climbing and new river gorge

Cute 1-BR stone cottage close to NRG

When visiting the New River Gorge National Park and Preserve, stay at this quaint stone cottage less than a mile off of Route 19 in downtown Oak Hill, WV. Things to Note: This little cottage has skylights upstairs, so light floods into this space from sunrise to sundown. Also, the mattress is firm. Finally, the hot water is provided via a tankless hot water heater, which has been known to cause water temperature variability.

The Grateful Oak is a unique, stylish home close to all the adventure the New River Gorge National Parks has to offer. Five minutes from Fayetteville, the closest town to the New River Gorge National Park, and ten minutes to ACE Adventure resort.

We are minutes away from many of the major attractions in the area including: rafting companies (i.e. ACE and Adventures on the Gorge, and River Expeditions), hiking, shops, and restaurants. We are located within the city of Oak Hill so no crazy backroads or surprises : ) Relax on our back porch, around the firepit, or inside in the air conditioning after a great day of having fun!
