This is a typical porteño place, also known as "Bodegon". Do not expect it to be fancy or romantic. This place is great for lunch, they have the daily special meal, or you may check the menu. Decent size dishes, decent prices. Expect the place to get crowded at lunch. Sharing a meal, could be an option. This place still offers the large bottle of soda, instead of the little can or else. Tables are small, and are one next to the other. If you are sitting alone, the gap between one and the other will be about a fist wide. And yet, I recommend it.

While it tend to have some sort of people complaining all the time, it is an iconic spot for the city. Not for the past 40 years, but since its foundation. Can not visit BA and skip this spot.

The Pink House, or Presidential house: its history, how it was built, why its color. You will definitely need to do some homework and read a bit about it, otherwise it will become another city government building. If you manage to get a visit inside it, it is fantastic.

Recently renovated (2014), it is a nice way to escape the city for a while, and get some tranquil time by its lake. Please, keep in mind that we have a humid weather year round: using mosquito repellent is always a good idea.
If you do love sports, the city government has installed different "work out stations".
