The main USPS branch in New Orleans. Counter service from 7:30am - 7pm. Service can be slow, but you can use the Self-Service Kiosk machine in the lobby afterhours.

The worst post office in the USA. If you have a letter to send, wait till you get home. If it's absolutely necessary, we warned you! Try to tune out the soap opera blaring from the TV.

Do you need to mail your 'my _____ went to New Orleans and all I got was this lousy postcard' postcard? Do people even send postcards anymore? If so, then this is the place! All of your snail mail and stamp related needs right here. Heads up: in any New Orleans post office you will wait approximately 3.5 days in line so bring a sleeping bag and some marshmallows. You've been warned.
