The fossil sites of Langebaanweg have exceptionally well-preserved remains of fossil fauna that date to circa 5.2 million years ago. Great for families with children

It is something special to stand at a sight and be told about creatures that roamed the world 5 Million years ago. I enjoyed going to the dig site and seeing the mass grave of an extinct antelope. Fascinating!!!! Who would know that South Africa had a BEAR.

There is the Fossil digging site and a new Museum and coffee shop. Viewings every hour on the hour.
