Smaller than Minnesota Zoo, but avreally nice indoor/outdoor zoo and lush, indoor botanical gardens, a great fix in the winter.

Como Park Zoo and Marjorie McNeely Conservatory is the perfect setting for an outdoor adventure. The zoo hosts a wide variety of animals and exhibits, matched only in diversity by the Marjorie McNeely Conservatory, a wide expanse of exotic and local gardens.

The Como Conservatory is a magnificent indoor garden along with an outdoor Japanese garden. The "Sunken Garden" in the conservatory is one of my all time favorite places in the Twin Cities: a. must see display of flowers. The Como zoo is small but intimate. Both the zoo and conservatory are admission by donation.
