The Whaling museum is a must see spot on the island. It was renovated recently and provides a fascinating history of the whaling industry and island life.

Beautiful museum showcasing Nantucket's interesting and strong history. Tip: Amazing rooftop patio overlooking the harbor. Go on a sunny day (to skip the crowds) bring a wrap from Cook's Cycles next door and enjoy it on the roof. Cheap lunch with a view!
