If you like history head over to the Pender Island Museum. It also has some fantastic hikes in the surrounding area! (Just be careful about tides as you can get stuck on the Roesland inlet).

Beautiful location by the ocean with a lovely walk through Roseland. Sit on the bench down by the water for a quiet restful stop and enjoy watching the ferry pass, with eagles, otter and other wildlife close by. Roesland is a National park in Pender Island. It is at 2895 S Otter Bay Rd. and it is also the location of Pender's Museum. Roesland is a beautiful park that takes you down to the water's edge. You can take a walk out onto the spit and enjoy the scene on the park benches.
