The Palmengarten is one of three botanical gardens in Frankfurt am Main and is located in the Westend district. With 22 hectares it is one of the largest gardens of its kind in Germany.
A large botanical garden in the center of the city “Frankfurt am Main”. From our appartment: around 22km distance/ approx. 25min. car drive.
Adjacent to the Palmengarten it is free to enter and contains indigenous plants of central Europe as well as collections of plants from the Canary Islands, Caucasus, East Asia, Mediterranean, and North America. only open in warmer months. Mo-Su: 9 am - 6pm
On the Bockenheimer Landstrasse is the beautiful 54-acre Palm Garden (Palmengarten), the largest botanic garden in Germany.
Very silent and very nice for relaxing. Be aware about restricted opening hours.
