The Newport Pier is about a 15-20 minute drive from South Coast Metro Retreat. We like to get there early before 8:00 am to buy fresh fish and crab at the Dory Fishing Fleet and Market right at the Pier. You can take a stroll or bike ride along the strand and enjoy one of the most beautiful beaches in SoCal, Newport Beach on Balboa Peninsula.

Breath taking beauty. The ocean temperature in So. California runs on the cold side, but even if you don't surf or go in the water, the sound of the waves, the sand on your toes and the sound of the ocean is enough to make you forget all your troubles.
