The Famous Hermanus Cliff Paths are a 16km stretch of paved path along the very front of the shore line. It is raised by the cliff rock ocean edge that allows for raised epic views of the ocean and of course whales! Stroll, walk, run or picnic on benches along the way! The Cliff Path is for everyone!

Walking distance from house, approximately 400m. Walk out of Mariners Village Estate’s security gate straight down Crescent Street, turn left into Sunnybrae Cres, turn right into Springfield Ave, turn left into Cliff Rd. Walk down Cliff Rd until the ocean is on your right. The Hermanus Cliff Path runs parallel all along Cliff Rd on your right. There are various entry points. It is advised not walk on the cliff path in the dark.

The scenic cliff path leads all the way from Voelkip to the new harbour in the town along side the ocean, past the beaches and cliffs and offer the most exquisite views over the ocean and through the fynbos. Great for relaxing walks and running.
