It is known by the main attraction of the seafood along the length of the beach a launching point for day boat excursions out to Phuket's surrounding islands.

Nice promenade and many good seafood restaurants. Not really a beach to get a tan or go swimming, as it's more a parking space for fast speed boat going to the islands off the cost of Phuket.
