Beautiful area, but very popular. Go during the week in the morning or during the off season (winter).

The bridge has been washed out from a huge storm and flooding. Still nice trails to hike but not as family friendly anymore.

This is a great hike for all skill levels. It is a beautiful drive in the country with mountain views. It is also on the blue ridge parkway with other great hikes nearby.

Skinny Dip Falls on the parkway is also a very popular swimming spot. No worries, nobody actually Skinny Dips, and its a very beautiful waterfall with a cool spot to jump into the water from. This is a pretty simple hike of just around 1 mile there and back.
