Crest Canyon trail offers great views of the ocean and lagoon and a nice 2-3 mile loop that you can get to from the trailhead on Recuerdo Dr (where it turns into Mango Way) two blocks due west of your AirBnB

It’s right across the street. Walk through the park to get to downtown, San Dieguito lagoon or the racetrack.
