Take a drive up to Mount Sugarloaf for a scenic view right across Newcastle and the ocean. Take a picnic lunch or just take a tour to the top of Mount Sugarloaf and enjoy the views. You can walk right up to the top after you get out of the car in the top car park

Some good hiking trails, bush drives, lookouts, picnic areas. Nearest shops at West Wallsend (15 mins drive).
