Crenellated limestone cliffs offering some of the best rock climbing of its type in France. Also superb hiking, road biking, and mountain biking. The most convenient point of access is from the car park above Gigondas. The villages at the foot of the Dentelles are all famous for wine production: Gigondas, Vacqueyras, Beaumes-de-Venise, Sablet, Séguret. These villages are also worth visiting their own right. Be sure to visit the medieval village of Séguret, which is officially one of the most beatiful villages in France.
