going up to the Strandafjellet mountain for either skiing in winter or with gondols in summer for Spectacular fjordview, there is also a restaurant on the top point there!.

Off pist with a great view. Gondole to the top of the mountain. Here you can eat and drink while enjoying asthonishing surroundings.

To the mountains by gondola. ABOUT Strandafjellet Ski Center is definitely not just a destination for the ski season. If you take the gondola lift to the top, you can enjoy the panoramic view from 1042 meters above sea level, and you have a perfect starting point for mountain hiking and cycling. The gondola lift takes visitors from 400 m.o.h up to the top station and the spectacular viewpoint 1062 m.o.h. In summer, the area is perfect for mountain hiking and mountaineering, as well as cycling on trails. Conditions are also excellent for paragliding or free riding on a bicycle. After the gondola lift was opened in 2012, the area has become accessible to more visitors, regardless of age or physical shape. Old and young summit enthusiasts, hikers or just life-lovers will find a large selection of mountain hikes in the area with the gondola on Strandafjellet and Roaldshorn as a starting point or terminus. You can choose from several routes for hiking in the mountains, or just sit down and enjoy both the view and the food from the restaurant Paviljong Roalden.
