Devils Punchbowl Waterfall

Perfect to visit on your way to or from us, when you're travelling the classic route: Make sure to stop at Arthur's Pass and stretch your legs on the easy/moderate there and back again trek to the Devils Punchbowl Waterfall.

Just over a 2 hour drive from Christchurch but well worth the trip. A short 10 minute walk from the car park to the waterfall.

A beautiful walk up to a spectacular waterfall, allow an hour but if you are a fast walker it will be quicker. Located in Arthur’s Pass, a good place to stop on the road between Hokitika and Christchurch.

Wonderful area 2.5 hours by car, many walks. This is a short walk to a great waterfall.

A really great walk to the waterfall. Wear appropriate clothing and footwear as the alpine weather can change rapidly.
