If you arrive in the evening and it is nice weather, take a coffee in "El Parador de tejeda" while you see the sunset. And if you are lucky you'll see "el mar de nubes" (sea of clouds) too.

Many sweet little cafes and restaurants and wonderful bakery where just about everything they make is from almonds . It is the oldest bakery in town .

Tejeda is a charming village located in the interior of the island of Gran Canaria, located about 1,000 meters above sea level. It can be said that it is practically in the center of the island. Currently, it belongs to the Association of the Most Beautiful Villages of Spain.
