The monument commemorates the landing for the first British settlers in Barbados and is easy to reach by bus. It is just across the street from a large supermarket, crafts shops and gas station and is right next to the library and police station.

Commemorates Island's first settlement. A bit of the heart and soul of Holetown. A few meters South is local Police Station and Post Office. There is an access to the beach adjacent to the P.O.
