At the exit of the village of Zinal, follow the valley on the left bank of the Navisence to the bottom of the plain. Take the summer road by the Vichiesso. At the bifurcation of the valleys, cross the bridge to then head towards by an oblique climb through the alpine pastures of Arpitetta and Tsijière de la Vatse. Reach a small pass to the SE of Roc de la Vache (2580 m), from where the cabin is visible. From the pass, a slight descent leads to the plain of Barme, to cross the torrent. Go up NE to the pastures of Tracuit looking for P. 2931, point from the SW ridge of Diablon des Dames. Continue along a wide ramp until under the Tracuit pass (3227 m), climb a steep hill that ends at a cable neck. A few steps in the rocks with a chain lead to the ridge, where the hut is located.
