Tumamoc is a popular place to catch amazing city views. It’s a pretty steep climb but worth the effort and a great place to meet other Tucsonans who love fitness and the outdoors.

I don't know why, but this place is packed with walkers every day and night. It's a 3 mile hike with 700' elevation change and a good push up towards the end. Go for it!

Less than a mile from the duplex, Tumamoc Hill's hiking trail offers a completely paved, "in-town" hiking experience. With steep inclines and about a 700-foot elevation gain from bottom to top, expect a workout whether you plan to walk or jog. A view of downtown Tucson is the reward at the end of this 1.5-mile hike. This is a popular spot, so expect to share the trail with others. Bikes and pets are not allowed.
