the Inland Sea is a nice place to visit and also to swim while visiting the ruins of the Azure Window in San Lawrenz.

One of the landmarks in Gozo and Europe, the Azure Window is quite a sight! Dwejra is a quiet remote beach on the west side of the islands, can be quite touristy during the lunch hour but the spectacular natural views and pathways around the beach and rocks are a must for any visitor of the island!

Dwejra Bay (including the Inland Sea and Dwejra Tower) offers visitors beautiful coastal formations where one can enjoy a swim in the deep sea of the bay, in the calm shallows of the inland sea or in the waters around the Blue Hole (one of Malta's top dive sites). For those less keen on plunging into the water, one may also hike around the area where the ''Azure Window was'' (a natural arch that unfortunately collapsed in May 2017). Although Azure Window may not be there anymore, visitors will still enjoy the breathtaking views even Game of Thrones fans will enjoy as scenes for King’s Landing (including the Sept of Baelor and the Red Keep) and the Dothraki Wedding were filmed!
