Very very unique, as is the owner of this Ethiopian restaurant, who was a friend of ours when we lived in this house.

There are a lot of really great Ethiopian restaurants in Cape Town, including some owned by this family, but Madam Taitou in Long Street is the quirkiest, most delicious of them all.
