A quaint town in the Adelaide Hills, Hahndorf is rich in German culture. A great little day trip to explore cafe's and boutique stores along the main stretch. No car, no worries - a public bus goes to Hahndorf. Just bring up google maps for details, and hop off at the main street. If you've got a car, you can head a little further up the main stretch and visit Beerenberg Farm. Here, you can pick your own strawberries, visit their cafe or purchase some of their range of yummy jams, chutneys and sauces

If you don't like touristy places stay away. Lovely little German town but super busy on the weekend. Lots of eateries, pubs, bakeries and knick knack shops.
