The lodge is on the property beside the main house facing an one acre horse paddock and overlooking a 3 acre pond, dock and gazebo. We are horse friendly. Attractions nearby include; Global Wildlife Center, an Alligator farm, the Bogue Chitto State Park, old town of Covington with antique shops, art galleries, and fine dining. We are only 45 miles from Downtown New Orleans. l

The main one is the Famous Sun Buns Bar and Grill that is located right next door. You can literally walk out the camps front door and walk there since the dock is attached to Sun Buns and our other camps.

At Sun Outdoors New Orleans North Shore RV Resort, this deluxe cottage provides accommodations for up to 6 guests. There is a full bed in the primary bedroom, bunk beds in the second bedroom, and a full sleeper sofa in the living room. It comes furnished and includes a private bathroom with a full shower and commode, heat and AC, cable TV, and WiFi, plus a kitchen with a fridge and range.
