Wake up to a stunning view of mountains and a salmon river, watch the bird life in summer, and enjoy coffee on the porch if the weather allows. In the winter darkness, you might enjoy a view of the Northern lights, but on a cloudy evening, you can watch the 50" satellite TV. Fully equipped kitchen, small washing machine and a hot tub.

The Aspen Annex

Take a break and unwind in our peaceful annex, conveniently located for hikes to the Reykjadalur Hot Spring Thermal River, and a wealth of amenities in Hveragerði. The annex has a private entrance, king size bed, ensuite bathroom with shower and basic cooking facilities (added in January 2026). You will also have exclusive use of the garden hot tub, a tranquil escape nestled among the birch and aspen trees. Please note that we have a very friendly dog who you may meet!

A wonderful cozy cabin surrounded by trees in front of Álftavatn lake. Amazing sunsets, sunrises and stargazing and with a bit of luck watching northern lights dancing above. This private space is a warm and cozy peaceful place, perfect for couples, families and friends. The house has a spectacular view of Álftavatn lake and mountain. Only 20 min drive from the Golden Circle and other tourist attractions. If you love nature and peace this is the place for you!

The place is centrally located so that the whole group can easily get around. 468 sq foot apartment that is well located and modern, spacious. Private cabin, in Reykjavík city, but still out in the nature ( NB you need a car to get there, no public transportation ). Beautiful nature all around with lake nearby, mountains to hike and more. Only 10 km drive from city center and 3km away from grocery store. Only a 30 minute drive to the national park Þingvellir. This comfortable guesthouse is only 50 km from keflavík airport. Golden circle road is a couple minutes away.
