The property comes with a fully fitted kitchen featuring all mod cons to make this a 'home from home'. The lounge area comes with a super comfy sofa area, TV and superfast broadband, central heating is provided throughout the property. Strathyre is located at the top of Loch Lubnaig 15 minutes north of the pretty town of Callander and 40 minutes from Stirling.

To reach the cabin you will need to drive for 3 miles on a forestry track. It is rough and has plenty of potholes so is not for the unadventurous or for those with low slung sports cars. A 4x4 is not necessary.

At Milton Cottage we aim to offer guests a cosy retreat to our croft where they can come and unwind in Glenlyon, Scotland’s longest and most beautiful glen. For hill walking, Ben Lawers and 12 munros are within a 6 mile radius. If you like fishing, salmon and trout fishing can be arranged. On request, we offer a three-course dinner. It's all homemade and we regularly cook vegetarian dishes, using our own or local produce where possible. The cottage has reliable WIFI broadband.

Welcome to our Cabin on the Loch. Our custom built cabin on stilts over the pristine Loch Venachar. Situated in the heart of the Trossachs, not far from Glasgow, Edinburgh and Stirling. It is a totally private secret escape. This is truly a place to relax and to get away from it all. Just sit on the deck, or take a stroll along the banks of the Loch. The cabin sleeps 2 people and is totally private. A wonderful location for fishing, walking and cycling, (or just chilling).
