Huset ligger ude i den fri natur i smukke omgivelser tilbagetrukket fra offentlig vej. Der er ikke direkte adgang med bil til huset, der er en frisk tur på ca 100 meter at gå opad en skråning til huset. Du må bære kufferten op til hytten. The house is very old. Originally the house was half the size it is today, only around 15m2. In 1884 they built it bigger, around 29m2. Nobody knows how old the original house is. People have been living in the small village of Tjørnuvík for thousand years.
