For couples or individual explorers (and dog), this beautifully restored, cosy apartment is an ideal retreat for escaping the rat race. The stand-alone heritage lodge, built at the beginning of the 1900s, and now restored to modern splendor, contains two bedrooms two ensuite bathrooms, an outdoor bath, a cozy living room, an open-space kitchen and dining area. Outside there is an enclosed dog friendly garden and a larger area leading off into the woodlands.

The Granary, Little Tahall Farm

The Granary is situated on our small working farm with stunning views over Wigtown Bay. Sleeps 2/4 with twin or double bedroom downstairs, single/double bed can be provided in lounge. Small child friendly, travel cot, high chair etc available. Short drive to beaches, Galloway Forest, hills and coast. Five minutes from Wigtown, handy for the Book Festival. Great for bikers, cyclists, walkers, bird watching or relaxing. One well behaved dog welcome, please advise us before arrival.

Liddesdale Lodge

Liddesdale Lodge sits on the Isthmus of The Rhins of Galloway and Stranraer, perfectly situated for walkers, cyclists and wild swimmers. With its close proximity to Loch Ryan and other beaches makes it ideal for all other water based activities. Stranraer Golf Club can also offer golfers discounted daily rates. The ferries at Cairnryan are 14 minutes away. The self catering Lodge enjoys rural aspects, and is within walking distance of local bars, restaurants, shops and parks.

The cottage, dating back to 1910, has been carefully and painstakingly renovated, filled with quirky curiosities, antiques and artwork. Walk into the bright, sunny kitchen and appreciate the luxury of underfloor heating throughout, courtesy of the on-site biomass boiler.
