Hop on a bus to Fen Drayton’s famous nature reserve and visit the myriad of historic and picturesque villages in the the area. St Ives sits on the river Ouse with a pretty quayside and excellent independent shops, cafes, and restaurants. There is a carpark directly opposite the pod. We are a 2 minute walk to the river and shops of St.Ives. It is just a ten minute walk to St Ives’s famous ‘Guided Busway’, where regular buses will whizz you into Central Cambridge in less than 40 minutes

The Village is within easy access to the A1 and is also very close to the East of England Showground, we are very close to a large shopping centre and a great choice of take aways and restaurants. Cherry Blossom is situation on Cherry Orchard Farm - a working farm in a secluded rural location in Great Staughton near the Cambs/Beds border. A delightful 17th century cottage located in rural Cambridgeshire, with low ceilings, exposed beams and an inviting fireplace with log burner.  With 2 bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom featuring a rolltop bath & courtyard garden, this hideaway has everything you need. My place is rural with great views, is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, and well behaved furry friends (pets). Refurbished April 2025, new heating, hot water system, new carpets and decorated throughout.

The Grange (Annex Apartment)

Quiet location, ideal for a relaxing break, or focal point to meet family or friends. Situated in the remote country village of Broughton. The village boasts popular and quaint pub, renowned for its food (The Crown). The Annex is detached from the main house, Lounge/Kitchen area, Bathroom, Two ground floor Bedrooms, with a third double situated in what was a Hay Loft (not suitable for children under 14 years of age). Recently re-furbished. Ample parking on the drive for 2 to 3 cars.

At Cambridgeshire Lakes, we believe that your holiday should start from the moment you drive down our rural, tree-lined track and into the serenity of our stunning lakeside location. The barn also has access to a shared BBQ and fire pit. With Cambridge just 20 minutes away by car, Alice Barn provides an excellent spot from which to explore this historic city.
