Double-glazing & log burner fire ensures the entire property is warm and cozy throughout the winter & accommodates up to six people.

Only five minutes drive from central Wanaka, Mount Gold Chalet is a bespoke private and cosy retreat. The exquisite wooden open plan studio chalet nestles in native forest high above Lake Wanaka. Views of the lake and surrounding mountains are breathtaking. The perfect place to rest and relax amidst 1.8 hectares of native forest and gardens. We had some issues with Vodafone broadband where guests didn’t have a strong signal sometimes, so we have upgraded to fast Starlink wifi 😄

Modern bathroom on each floor and open plan dining/living kitchen - equipped with all your needs for a comfortable stay. There’s even a picture of Sir Edmund when he first returned from his historic climb of Mt Everest in 1953. Recently refurbished, with a new kitchen and bathroom, it is cute, comfortable and has stunning views from the front balcony, the living area and the master bedroom. Walk to the shops and restaurants in central Queenstown. There’s plenty of parking at the house.

Golden Terrace Queenstown

A stand alone apartment built about 12 years ago at the front of the Goldfields subdivision (close to the Sherwood Hotel) hanging out over the lake with fantastic unobstructed views across the Frankton Arm to the Remarkables. The apartment has had a remake (4 yrs ago) and has changed into a 'ski chalet' in the mountains with plywood interior. There is off-street parking for one vehicle on the car deck. Steps lead down to the apartment.
