The Farmhouse

The Farmhouse is privately positioned alongside a Security Estate, offering low key, rustic accomodation that quietly reconnects you to nature. Restore one's capacity to appreciate the simple things in life, such as the sound of rain on a rustic exposed tin roof and singing birds. If the wind blows in a certain direction, you may hear distant traffic. Expect to encounter duiker, rabbits, possibly bats. Guests love the peaceful mood under the canopy of trees, the big fireplace and the comfy beds.

The Blue Cow Barn - Betsie Cottage

The Blue Cow Barn Accommodation is situated on a working farm, 1km from Barrydale town centre. Our farm has gone through many seasons - from a fruit farm to a dairy farm and now a guest farm. Our cottages are named after the cows that were part of the dairy and Betsie is our most flamboyant and eccentric cottage and cow. You'll love this cottage as it is situated in the original farm barn that dates back to the 1960's and the gorgeous mountain view. This cottage also has access to the hot tub.

The kitchen boasts a Smeg stove and all the necessities to create beautiful meals. The bedroom has a queen-sized bed in a loft bedroom and an extra double bed is available downstairs. . Milkwood Meadows Self Catering Cottage 2

Milkwood Meadows self catering accommodation is located close to Sardinia Bay beach and is on a working equestrian farm. Our 5 lovely cottages have been refurbished from old stables. Each cottage has their own entrance, kitchen and small bathroom with a shower as well as a small patio with access to shared braai facilities. Each cottage is furnished immaculately giving you a sense of luxury whilst still providing the charm of farm-stay type accommodation.

The Dairy

The Dairy is literally an old milking parlour which has been turned into spacious accommodation on this working dairy farm. The unit has a more modern feel to it than the Farmhouse. Lovely views of the dam & Outeniqua mountains and a big "farm pool" with deck. Wood-fired hot tub on a wooden deck on the patio.
