The Blue Cow Barn - Betsie Cottage

The Blue Cow Barn Accommodation is situated on a working farm, 1km from Barrydale town centre. Our farm has gone through many seasons - from a fruit farm to a dairy farm and now a guest farm. Our cottages are named after the cows that were part of the dairy and Betsie is our most flamboyant and eccentric cottage and cow. You'll love this cottage as it is situated in the original farm barn that dates back to the 1960's and the gorgeous mountain view. This cottage also has access to the hot tub.

Situated on the Garden Route amid rolling farmlands and natural forest, the Art Barn is located a mere 15 minute drive from Knysna and 20 minutes from Buffels Bay. The converted art studio is an open plan designed to capture the soft forest light as it filters through the trees, and to provide the occupants with breathtaking views of the surrounding forest.

Converted Stone Barn

The rustic charm of a converted stone barn set in the majestic Drakensberg mountains. Soak up the wonders of nature on the patio with uninterrupted berg views as cattle, horses graze nearby, enjoy a stroll down to the Mkimkhulu river for a spot of fly fishing. For the more active a hike along one of the many trails on the farm there are plenty of birdlife to enjoy, or bring your bike for fantastic MTB trails.
