Revamped Minimalist Stone Country House

Nestled on the foot of mount Giouchtas, in the picturesque village of Archanes, our stone countryhouse is located in one of the most central and beautiful parts of the area. Archanes are 20 minutes away from the centre of Heraklion(15km), 15 minutes away from Heraklion's International airport, 15 minutes away from the famous Minoan palace of Knossos, as well as 20 minutes away from numerous beautiful beaches. Situated in the center of the most important wine-producing region of Crete, it has a 5000 years old history, while excavations conducted in the last 50 years have brought to light a lot of sites dating back to the Minoan period. The village is also very famous for its typical Cretan architecture. Most of the houses have been restored recently and Archanes has won the second award as “the best restored village in Europe”. The house enjoys a spacious interior and a private garden, which is protected by a peripheral wall. This is a typical characteristic of old Cretan houses of the area. Guests enter the private garden through the gate which then leads to the main building. I am always at the disposal of my guests, so that I can make their holiday problem-free. Furthermore, there is a free parking very close to the house. The country house is only 20’ away from the “Nikos Kazantzakis Airport” and the port. The archeological site of Knossos is 15’ away.

It is a 2-minute walk to the village where you'll find a bakery, restaurants, cafes, tavernas & a mini market that supplies everything.

Villa Vido

Villa Vido is an island-style villa located in Karteros-Heraklion. Located 9 km from the city centre, 5 km from the Heraklion airport and 1 km from the Karteros beach, the villa is a unique destination for relaxation and easy access to many locations. Enjoy the panoramic view of the island Dia and the endless azure of the Aegean Sea. In the spacious garden with the small chicken house, there are fresh fruits, vegetables and eggs  and they are offered to you when available.

Villa Mojito was built in 2020. It has stunning views of Mount Psiloritis, the Messara valley and the sea. The house offers everything you need to have a wonderful, relaxing holiday. There are several terraces and covered spaces, as well as a large sun terrace by the pool. In 2022 we added a large electrical pergola to provide extra shade. The house has excellent air conditioning to keep you cool in the summer and warm in winter. We also have a pellet stove.
