Highland Home

Munro Cottage is a traditional Victorian cottage. Although extensively modernised it retains much of its traditional character. Heating is provided by storage heaters in living room, hallway and bathroom and electric panel heaters in bedrooms. All electric heating is included in the price. There is an open coal fire for which a starter pack is provided. There is double glazing throughout. WiFi is provided . There is a 32" TV and DVD in the living room and a second TV in the double bedroom.

Foulis Castle Gate Lodge

Foulis Gate Lodge is a Highland cottage on the Gates of an historic, private, Highland estate with its own drive. The secluded location offers direct access to extensive gardens. The nearest amenities are 2miles in Evanton or 5miles to the ancient Burgh of Dingwall. Foulis Castle is a 15 min walk away from the Storehouse Restaurant & Farm shop, which is situated on the shore/beach of the Cromarty Firth (Mon-Sat 9-5pm). My place is good for NC500 travellers, couples, and business travellers.

There is a spacious super kingsize (or twin) bedroom, spectacular living space, modern kitchen & shower room, private entrance, parking & outside seating area. A local supermarket, takeaway's and bike hire are only a short walk from the cottage. The main street with many bars and restaurants is within walking distance. A path next to the house leads onto the Aviemore Orbital and the Speyside Way which are great walking and cycling trails.

My traditional cottage is set in the middle of the delightful village of Boat of Garten situated in Speyside near Aviemore. It is bursting with charm, cosy and comfortable. Fully decorated for Christmas and new year. It has a very large secluded garden with various areas to relax. Cosy and comfortable with full central heating.
