Come and enjoy your stay at the Historic Lakewood Park. We have ten cabins open year-round for rental at the property. Each offers an enjoyable experience on our 63-acres with 10-acre lake. Amenities include single-room cabins with fireplace, kitchenette, queen bed, couch (folds to a bed), private bathroom with 5' tiled shower, wifi, cable TV, lake fishing, hiking, outdoor firepit, grill, and more. Enjoy a stay at a completely refurbished 1820’s log cabin nestled in the woods and rolling fields of a 30 acre homestead. The cabin showcases three bedrooms and gorgeous views, a large living and dining area, as well as full kitchen. Enjoy exploring the trails around the farm, greeting the resident horses and ponies, immersing yourself in the surrounding area of hiking trails and blue marsh lake.

Gruber Homestead Settler's Cabin

The cabin is the original Settler's Cabin on the Gruber Homestead settled in 1737 by Henrich Gruber. The restoration combines the originality of the cabin with the modern amenities that make this a unique and comfortable getaway experience. Located on a rural property of 28 acres in Berks County, PA. Miniature donkeys and horses graze the pastures and add to the charm of the cabin. No pets allowed.
