Kick back and relax in this ideally located modern cottage. Enjoy a soak in the hot tub or the peace of the covered porch. Situated in the heart of midcoast Maine, this cottage has it all. An elegant kitchen that awaits your culinary delights, a spacious living area, a primary bedroom with a TV, a kingsize bed and a luxurious bath with a soaking tub and a walk-in rainfall shower, plus twin bunk beds for the kiddos. A small store and a farm to table restaurant are conveniently across the street.

nice little cottage in Dark Harbor, near to everything. queen bed, so sleeps up to two in a quiet location for short or medium term stays. most reasonable amenities provided; hiking or social recommendations are available on request. (Wi-Fi speed excellent, though I was not able to use AirB&B's official Wi-Fi measurement option.) *Please be aware, we are on an island, which must be accessed by boat or ferry, so service can be interrupted. there's a gym at the Community Center, $10/day pass.

"The Lair" Guesthouse

"The Lair" is a just recently renovated small 200 square foot cabin with vaulted ceilings and plenty of natural sunlight. The building is located close to Green Tree Coffee and Tea, a coffee roaster, so the aroma of coffee will be in the air. We located about 400 yards South of the Islesboro Ferry and Lincolnville Beach and 2.4 milres North of Camden Hills State Park and Mount Battie. Free coffee and tea everyday, all day! We are closed for Winter, will re-open Mid-April. Thank you.

A private half mile walk down the driveway will end at brick sidewalks leading you to Lincolnville Beach, one of Maine's stretches of sandy shoreline.

Halcyon Ridge is owned by Lynn & Chuck Hadyniak, who live nearby. Lynn & Chuck moved out of New Jersey years ago to get away from the hustle & bustle, & raise a family in peace. They love Freedom for its quiet & natural beauty, & would love to host people at Halcyon Ridge who also want to escape the noise. Stargazers will be delighted: low humidity, expansive view of the southeastern sky, & next to no light pollution, make for wonderful viewing. Rest. Relax. Recharge.

Bright, airy, renovated cottage in the heart of Bayside Village. You will have plenty of space in this 2,000 square foot home. With central air conditioning, laundry on site, a designated paved driveway for parking, plenty of bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, plenty of storage and a screened in porch, you’ll feel right at home. Take a walk down the hill to the dock, walk the beaches, boat watch at the nearby green parks and enjoy all that Bayside has to offer!

Queen bed cabin, The Anchorage 4

Cabin 4 "Christmas Cove" is named for our favorite anchorage in the United States Virgin Islands. It's a great spot for snorkeling and grabbing a pizza at Pizza Pi. Christmas Cove is a small cabin perfect for a couple exploring Maine's mid-coast. She comes complete with a Queen Size bed, Keurig and complimentary coffee pods. While she doesn't have a porch, guests are welcome to enjoy the common area by the creek. When permits allow, we will try and setup a fire.

SNOW SWEET, A Yurt for All Seasons

Snow Sweet at The Appleton Retreat is very private, check out the Trail Map. This contemporary yurt faces the Field of Dreams and has a nice view of Appleton Ridge. It features a private therapeutic hot tub on the deck, a fire pit, and fast wifi. The Appleton Retreat encompasses 120 acres hosting six unique retreats. To the south is the Pettengill Stream, a resource protected area. To the north is the Nature Conservancy's 1300 acre reserve.

Antique Barn Apartment at Salt Water Farm

This elegant and comfortable apartment in situated in an antique post & beam barn that sits perched above rolling fields and vegetable gardens looking out over the Penobscot Bay. From the porch, guests can watch the local lobsterman pick up traps and see schooners weaving through the islands. The apartment sits over Salt Water Farm Cooking School, a small recreational cooking school for home cooks.
