Basic seaside cottage in Sedgefield

Basic seaside cottage on the waters edge with views over the lagoon. Walking distance from the lagoon mouth. A 2 minute walk to semi-private beach access directly from below the cottage. 15 minutes walk to town. Located in a Milkwood grove. Private deck with very good views over the lagoon. A large variety of bird-life due to forest and lagoon proximity. Unfortunately, the cottage is accessed via an uneven pathway through the grove so is not recommended for guest with special mobility needs.

Houseboat Myrtle is a totally self-contained wooden cottage on the water. Permanently Anchored in the Knysna Lagoon, it’s a two minute dinghy ride from the Knysna Waterfront and we’ll give you lessons to get you going on the water. Myrtle is one of the original Knysna houseboats and has a lovely wood finish inside. With its two decks, it’s perfect for lazy days floating on the lagoon. Seaside cottage is situated on Wilderness main beach. The cottage has no sea views from the bedrooms but only from the balcony upstairs. Beautiful sea views from the comman area on the grass. Walking distance to the Wilderness village. Ideal getaway for all couples and families. ( not ideal for small children, stairs in cottage and open balcony) No safety gate at stairs. The property is fully walled and has secure parking on the premises for one vehicle.
