Craigiehall Temple (historic property built 1759)

Shaftesbury Park - Your home from home

Shaftesbury Park is a comfortable artist-owned traditional ground floor flat in a Victorian terraced house with fast wifi and its own little garden. It lies two miles southwest of Edinburgh Castle in a leafy conservation area and is only a short bus ride from all major visitor attractions. A well-stocked delicatessen is just across the road and provides delicious croissants and wines. Active guests love the 30min walk along the scenic Union Canal which takes them straight to the city centre.

Kingsburgh Lodge Murryfield, close to city centre

This beautiful private lodge is located on the grounds of a grand Victorian house built in the 1890's. The lodge has its own private, gated entrance and driveway to park your car. It boasts two bedrooms, each with spacious ensuite. The home is located between Haymarket and Murrayfield, 1 mile from Edinburgh city centre with great transport links into the city centre and to the airport. You could not find a more beautiful and well recommended home to stay in for your visit to Edinburgh.

Alternatively, multiple bus routes nearby and the airport is just 20 minutes by taxi. Free parking available at the weekends, 10 pound per day during the week.

Beautiful, safe&quiet, 15 min A'port/city ctr

A lovely small but cozy annexe attached to my house but with private entrance. Previous guests have loved this quiet, treelined residential area. 20 mins from airport, 10 mins to city centre by tram. 10 mins walk to Murrayfield Stadium. Free parking in my driveway. Very regular buses and trams until midnight. Airport bus runs throughout the night 5 mins walk from my house. Happy to give advice on car hire and day trips out of the city. Relax in a modern home on our 20 hectare (50 acre) working organic farm just a few miles south of the Edinburgh city bypass. The apartment includes 3 rooms with a private external entrance and a locked internal door if needed. The single bedroom is ensuite; the other main room is a living space with a kitchenette and large sofa bed. We are close to the route south / north too and from Edinburgh but far enough away (1.5km) to not get interrupted by road / traffic noise.

Our nice and cozy house locates in a residential area with excellent public transportation, 15 mins bus/tram journey to Princes Street, 15 - 20 mins bus/tram from the airport, and popular Edinburgh Zoo, Murrayfield Stadium are both 10-15 minutes walk away. We also have free on street parking if you are driving, and a back garden for you to enjoy some sunshine. With 2 bedrooms and 1 sofa bed, our house comfortably accommodates 4-5 people. With a super comfortable bed and a working wood burning stove you'll be nice and cosy. There's loads of board games and books if you want a quiet night in. My parents who live next door are available for tips on Edinburgh, or we can leave you in peace if you prefer!
