Craigiehall Temple (historic property built 1759)

Make your trip to Edinburgh truly memorable with a stay at Craigiehall Temple. Built in 1759 and situated in its own grounds on a former part of the Craigiehall Estate, its Grade A listed for its stunning portico displaying the arms of the 1st Marquess of Annandale. A plaque on the wall carries a quote from Horace: "Dum Iicet in rebus jucundis vive beatus", "Live happy while you can among joyful things". West End of Edinburgh, Roseburn, reach the city on foot in 15-20 mins or 5 mins bus ride. Murrayfield rugby stadium is less than 10 mins walk. This 1 bedroom flat has a separate double bedroom but also a double sofa bed to sleep an additional 2 people, up to 4 in total. It has an open plan living/dining room and kitchen area. There is a separate bathroom which has both bath & shower. Situated on the ground floor, in a small block of flats in a very quiet residential area, no parties welcome.

Shaftesbury Park is a comfortable artist-owned traditional ground floor flat in a Victorian terraced house with fast wifi and its own little garden. It lies two miles southwest of Edinburgh Castle in a leafy conservation area and is only a short bus ride from all major visitor attractions. A well-stocked delicatessen is just across the road and provides delicious croissants and wines. Active guests love the 30min walk along the scenic Union Canal which takes them straight to the city centre.

The home is located between Haymarket and Murrayfield, 1 mile from Edinburgh city centre with great transport links into the city centre and to the airport. You could not find a more beautiful and well recommended home to stay in for your visit to Edinburgh.

Easy access to the city centre, just a 25-minute walk along the canal, leading straight to the meadows and castle. Alternatively, multiple bus routes nearby and the airport is just 20 minutes by taxi. Free parking available at the weekends, 10 pound per day during the week.

Beautiful, safe&quiet, 15 min A'port/city ctr

A lovely small but cozy annexe attached to my house but with private entrance. Previous guests have loved this quiet, treelined residential area. 20 mins from airport, 10 mins to city centre by tram. 10 mins walk to Murrayfield Stadium. Free parking in my driveway. Very regular buses and trams until midnight. Airport bus runs throughout the night 5 mins walk from my house. Happy to give advice on car hire and day trips out of the city. Our nice and cozy house locates in a residential area with excellent public transportation, 15 mins bus/tram journey to Princes Street, 15 - 20 mins bus/tram from the airport, and popular Edinburgh Zoo, Murrayfield Stadium are both 10-15 minutes walk away. We also have free on street parking if you are driving, and a back garden for you to enjoy some sunshine. With 2 bedrooms and 1 sofa bed, our house comfortably accommodates 4-5 people. This 19th century cottage attached to our family home is a unique find, tucked away and peaceful, but just a short walk to the historic city centre. Perfect for exploring! My parents who live next door are available for tips on Edinburgh, or we can leave you in peace if you prefer!
