This is a traditional Shack with modern comforts. It’s the sort of place you might remember from childhood holidays. Located right on a beautiful bay it is the perfect getaway for families or couples. Walk out the front gate and you are on the beach. Fall asleep at night to the sound of the ocean. I want guests to feel nostalgic, to say this is what we did when we were kids. To share those memories with their own kids and to make new memories together. Perched right on the foreshore and overlooking the bay is Squid Ink Shack. A comfortable & spacious waterfront property with 180 degree views over the bay. It’s a peaceful & tranquil setting among the tall gum trees. Go for a swim, snorkel or kayak right at your front doorstep or take a short leisurely walk down the gravel road to fish off the jetty or launch the boat and let the kids play on the sands of White Beach. Our place is a perfect base to explore all the Tasman Peninsula has to offer.

A few minutes walk to beautiful White Beach, this relaxing, quaint cottage is the ideal getaway on the Tasman Peninsula. A short drive to the Port Arthur Historic Site and the start of the spectacular Three Capes Walk and many other attractions the Peninsula has to offer. Close to the township of Nubeena and services and only 1 and 1/2 hours drive from Tasmania’s capital, Hobart.
