Also the hotel is older like many other structures in this historic city dating back to when Alexander Hamilton walked the streets. There are no elevators, just stairs. Christiansted, though, is known for its daytime activities, nightlife, history, shopping, launch point to Buck Island, scuba diving and overall laid-back atmosphere.
