Beautiful unique house with a taste of wilderness

This is a peaceful little getaway with a lot of options. The home is nestled in the trees right on the Willow Creek Greenbelt, with a trail, ancient trees, and babbling Willow creek. The greenbelt is accessed from the back of the lot. Amidst the beautiful juniper, piñon, and ponderosa pines on the lot are beautiful mountain views from the back yard and the house. It a perfect place to reconnect with nature. There is a steep staircase (with a sturdy hand rail) to the bedroom to be aware of.

The Skylight Chalet

Explore 35+ wooded acres surrounded by national forest in Rockies looking at the stars through the skylights. The Skylight Chalet is quite small but ideal for couples, friends, & solo travelers to relax and adventure in a restored building in nature <15 mins from downtown Salida. We designed the Skylight Chalet with two queen beds, a covered outdoor deck, and a hanging table surrounded by glass for 4 to eat. We've worked hard designing the Skylight Chalet. This 1000sq ft cabin in the country with a very rural setting. It is quiet and relaxing, has a wood stove and is close to outdoor activities. Penitent Canyon, La Garita, hiking, mountain biking, rock climbing, 4wheeling, ATV trails, snowmobiling, skiing (Wolf Creek is 50 min drive). It has a canal running by in the summer.
