Sightseeing
The Round Tower and Witch's Stone are impressive reminders of Antrim’s ancient monastic settlement. The tower was built around the 10th century as a bell-tower for protection from raiders and is known locally as The Steeple. It is 28 metres tall and is one of the finest of its kind in Ireland. The monastic site was burned in 1147.

Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge is a famous rope bridge near Ballintoy in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. The bridge links the mainland to the tiny island of Carrickarede. It spans 20 meters and is 30 meters above the rocks below. There are direct trains and buses located 10 minutes from my home, all of the points of interest is very accessible.

It spans 20 meters and is 30 meters above the rocks below. There are direct trains and buses located 10 minutes from my home, all of the points of interest is very accessible.
It was intended as a compelling landscape feature to impress visitors as they approached the entrance to their Georgian mansion, Gracehill House.
Two centuries later, the trees remain a magnificent sight and have become one of the most photographed natural phenomena in Northern Ireland.
In fact, the iconic trees have been used as a filming location in HBO's epic series Game of Thrones, representing the King's Road.
